Our Polyethylene foam profiles are most commonly used in edge and corner protection applications. Our standard product offering includes 1/2” thru 6” diameter and can be supplied in various lengths as well as they can also be perforated, slit, notched and bonded into L-shaped corners. Our planks of poly sheeting are available in various thicknesses and densities. Our foam plank can be utilized to our exceptional protective characteristics for lining our custom crates and corrugated containers for additional cushioning and security of your product during transit.
Norwood Industries produces Reddi-Crate™, a laminated paperboard packaging product used to reduce the chance of product damage that can occur during shipping and handling. An excellent replacement product for exported wooden crates. Its preformed profiles and two end closures form a shipping container that provides superior strength and protection for almost any linear application. The smooth surface and interior of Reddi-Crate™ is non-abrasive to products. A choice of exterior finishes is available in addition to the standard white clay coat. Reddi-Crate™ can be treated with moisture resistant or corrosion protective coatings for added defense against damage from the elements. We can apply color printing to exterior surfaces to take advantage of product identification and point-of-sale merchandising opportunities. Reddi-Crate™ end plugs are available in wood or paperboard u-plug material to suit your application.
Norwood crating is ISPM Compliant with international standards for Photo sanitary Measures. All wood packaging complys with official quality control program for Heat Treatment (HT) or Kiln Dried Treatment (KD) in accordance with American Lumber Standard Committee (ALSC) Inc. and Wood Packaging Material Program of the U.S. Government.
All of our products are IPPC-ISPM 15 treated and comply with Military and Industries specification standards such as, ASTM D6251, ASTM D6039, MIL-B-2427, MIL-P-15011, PPP-B-621, PPP-B-601.
